The first time I heard Jewel was on the radio station and I just knew that I had to have her CD. I think that she is a great singer and I would like to think her for what she did to help me. For some reason she helped me find my own talent "Singing." I was lesting to one of her songs and I thought that I would try to write a song. So I did, and now I wright songs and sing. I don't have a CD hell I don't even have a band yet, But I'm worken on it. If you want one of my songs email me at zero_cool00@yahoo.com I would be more than happy to let you read one. A great tape of Jewel for ya! Hello everyone, this is the first time I've posted anything because I forgot to mention to you all about the tape of Jewel I have. I'm from Canada and a couple of months ago CBC aired a show "Lilith Fair: Sarah McLachlan & Friends". It was a show about the tour but based mostly around Sarah because she is Canadian, but in the concert also was Jewel, Shawn Colvin, Sheryl Crow, Meredith Brooks, and the Indigo Girls (possibly more, I'm not sure). I taped this because I couldn't be there that night and I wanted to offer it to anyone who may want a recording of it. Jewel sings only one song, Near You Always, but at the end of the show all the artists collaborate together to sing one of the Indigo Girls' songs and Jewel bursts into a yodeling solo near the end of it. It's a great show which they've put on, especially if you are a McLachlan fan. Some of you may already have the tape or have talked about it, but I wanted to offer it to those who maybe missed it the first time. I would gladly tape it for you and mail it if the shipping charges were covered or in exchange for any of Jewel's other music (I've only heard the music from her album... poor poor deprived me). If you're interested, E-mail me and we'll go from there. Also anyone with ICQ chat E-mail me also and we'll try and hook up a time to chat.
