I hope everything is going well, and I hope you all had a happy holiday. My Christmas day was great, but my night was horrible. My house caught on fire(they think it was from the Christmas tree...kind of ironic, isn't it?), and everything was lost. Just about everything is covered under insurance, and I have friends to stay with..so it isn't as bad as you would think. BUT, all of my CD's and angelfood was destroyed. Here's the thing. I didn't have that much angelfood to begin with(I only had 3 tapes). I only have 3 CD's to my name now, but I am more than willing to make copies for anyone who will trade. I have the import single of WWSYS(Songs:WWSYS, POY, and Emily), the import single of foolish games(Songs:foolish games, angel needs a ride, everything breaks), and I also have the standard POY album. These are the only cd's I have, but I am more than willing to make copies. If anyone doesn't have one of these singles, and you want to trade..please E-mail me. I can't live without Jewel, and I'd like something to listen to when I have a house again. A Sonic Session is recorded at Sonic Studios in Philadelphia. Artists play in front of a handful of people. This CD also has work from Blues Traveler, The Wallflowers, The Verve Pipe, and much more. Milla list. Milla is Milla Jovovich, model, actress, singer/songwriter. Her latest effort was as Leeloo, the perfect being in The Fifth Element. Her only CD was released in 1994. She was supposed to release another this year, but I've heard nothing else of it. I suppose the modelling and acting has gotten in the way. My point is that I am concerned that this may happen to Jewel, also. Her music may begin to take the back seat to her other interests. She has many, acting being the first on her list which includes writing and sculpting. Will shooting the movie in March indefinitely postpone the release on a new album? We've been waiting since fall of '96. Now, it's not due until fall of '98. Milla and Jewel are quite different, I know. Milla had a career in modelling and acting _before_ singing. Maybe she was unwilling to expend the energy on a music career when she was already established in other fields. Jewel, on the other hand, has fought long and hard for her success in music; something she may not easily give up for other pursuits. I think this is a legitimate concern and would like others to give their opinions, especially those who followed Milla's musical efforts formt he begining. Also, I'd like to hear privately from people familiar with Milla's music. I have a few questions not appropriate for this group.
