No single has ever been on the Billboard top 50 for an entire calendar year. 48 weeks so far. Can anyone confirm this? Bill ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 07 Dec 1997 21:02:39 -0500 From: Doughboy Subject: Camelot Music Jewel CD I was looking in one of those booklets at a camelot music store that they hand out when you look around. I see Jewel's Pieces of you CD, BUT it has a different picture. The CD on the rack were the normal white front ones. Did anyone else notice this? If you've found one, could you send me a list of songs if it's different from the norm? Thanx - -- Please visit my homepage located at http://www.fortunecity.com/tinpan/oldsquire/78/index.html It has AIM Away messages that are pretty cool. Please send me your name, and birthday, and email, and I'll post it on my birthday page found at the site above. Thanks a million. I may be paranoid, but it's society that's made me that way. ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 07 Dec 1997 19:54:28 -0800 From: The Whites Subject: Vote for Jewel Hi I think it would be nice if we all went to www.muchmusic.com/muchmusic/ and vote for one of Jewels videos as "The greatest video of all time" I voted for Foolish games. I'm sure other people can add more info to >> Hello everyone, my Thanksgiving was really hectic with working the day of as well as the day before & after Thanksgiving & trying to fit in time for sleep & family. I was very sorry I missed the San Diego gathering though =(. I live in Phoenix & haven't really ever "been" to San Diego that I remember even though it's not very far away. I've been to Disneyland a few times but ---- the point is..... I am interested in trying to find music from the artists that performed at Java Joes at the EDA gathering. If someone could either post or send me a private email with the artist & title of their releases that'd be great. Also, especially - I heard there was a song entitled "Rainbow" that was VERY GOOD as I heard it made a few people cry. I can't remember the artist who performed this song & would love to hear it too =). Thanks to everyone for your help. Have a merry Christmas (a little early). Anyway, lilith fair aired last night on CBC, it wass pretty good, to bad Jewel only sang one song though, but I loved how she yodelled at the end! How's everyone doing tonight/day/afternoon, (what ever it is when you read this)? Anyway...I was wondering if the song (I think it was called "The Water Is Warm" or something) that Jewel did with the Indigo Girls and Sarah McLaughlin on the Lillith Fair PPV touched anyone as deeply as it did me? I thought it was one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. Just thought I'd share my opion and I'd love to hear your responses. Please email me privately.
