It'd be reminiscent of Ozzy and whoever he did that duet with. (BTW, who was that, and what was the song name? It's a cool song, but I can never find a copy of it) The Manson/Sneaker Pimps song didn't go off completely as it was hoped, the Sneaker Pimps didn't care enough to get involved in the final mix, but when it was released they complained about it. I would have liked to have heard the Manson/SP team up. Anyway, I'm going to shut up now. I'm just posting a message addressed to all you newbies out there. I am willing to adopt one of you if anyone is looking for a parent. I am only accepting one at this time but maybe will adopt more in the future. I also have an extra copy of Jewel at Tower Theatre in Philadelphia. The first person to e-mail me with TAPE in the subject will receive it free of charge! Hi At first when I read all your posts about Manson I almost frieked! I though "Jewel has MUCH higher class than that" I don't really think either of them would want to do it. But then I though harder, it COULD be sucsessful, but the song would have to be VERY carefully written/chosen. Unfortunatly, the only reason this song would probally get much attention would be controversy. Agree? Mansons whole career is total controversy. I mean lets face it, the guy can't sing, he'll be lucky to have a voice in a couple years. He does know how to market though. Does anyone know if he writes his own songs? Because if so, then he should be a songwriter, not a singer. If he suddenly droped the whole evil/satan thing, my guess is that his career would take a drop. If he quit with weird pictures, swearing and just plain being nasty, he would be gone! I'm just curious, is anyone here a manson fan? I never though a Jewel fan would be a manson fan, I mean I like all types of music from classical to alternative, but Marylinn in sorta where I draw the line. Not that I'm mad at his religeon or anything, but frankly I just don't think the guy has much talent. Well, I sure got off topic, sorry people! Hey Angels, I know this is kind of a stupid question, but what was the name of the song where Jewel makes her guitar sound like a harp and she's singing really slow? It sounded like a song an actual angel would sing. She did it in the VHI special, and I'm pretty sure she did it at the MTV music awards, too. Thanks. - the Indigo Angel ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 26 Nov 1997 22:28:31 -0500 From: "Aleksandra Podbereski" Subject: Not Really JC: A Lost Save The Linoleum Dear All, About a week ago, someone posted to the list saying he had acquired two Save The Linoleum CDs in an HMV. The person stated that the first person to e-mail him back would receive this CD for a minimal cost of $8.99 Canadian. As I've been on the list for a while, and have been DYING to get this CD, I e-mailed right away, hoping that luck would be on my side. I waited....and waited. No reply. I e-mailed the guy...asked him who received the CD just so I could rest easy that it wasn't, in fact, me. No reply. So now I'm posting to the list....did anyone get this CD?? I just want to know so that I don't have to be nervous as I check my e-mail anymore. Thanks a lot. Allie ------------------------------ End of jewel-digest V2 #908 ***************************
