Here's my story: Well, I was on vacation in Florida (I come from the UK and live in Germany) and I was trying to find a decent radio station to listen to, when i found one and I heard a song I knew from England on. It turns out that the station is She 100.3 FM (does anyone listen to this station?) and after that song I was waiting for the next song. The rest is history. I joined the list for stimulating conversations about Jewel. Instead, I sat through a moderation period, and many, many spats. To me, it appears you should screen your list subscribers and warn them that any poor judgement posts will result in moderation, and any further one's will result in expultion from the list. I completely respect what the faithful EDA's have developed, relationship-wise. I think it is great. I was hoping I would be able to get into that group. But some of my posts were met with pure critisism. Sorry I don't know everything about Jewel already. In addition, most of the posts I read are just plain a waste of technology. I can honestly saw that over 30% of the posts are one-line crap. Is Jewel coming here? IS Jewel going there? Is Jewel still #1 on VH-1? Is Jewel still #8 on MTV? Is Jewel still wearing that feather in her hair? Does Jewel smoke? Does Jewel wipe from behind, or the front? CHRIST!!! Overload. Simplicity is the key to life people. You don't need to know every indiosyncrasy (get out your dictionaries kiddies and toddlers) of Jewel. I BELIEVE in the concept of the EDA's and I will miss not ever having developed a relationship with you guys. But it seems like you have your group formed and everyone else just joining up now is an outsider. I hope the EDA's continue their group and I hope the people on list who think they know everything chill out for the sake of the newbies who will soon join the list. I fell in love with a beautiful Teenager named Sara and I also went to go see the goddess Sarah McLachlan at The Riverside in Milwaukee Nov.6 I have just one thing to say about that concert "WOW" I missed Lilith Fair so I never got to see Jewel or Sarah but when I saw Mrs. McLachlan I was stunned by how great she is. She played 2 encores and She played the Piano I play the piano and it felt so great to see her play the piano. I won tickets and backstage passes off the radio and I took my Sara to meet Sarah and her husband. They are two great people now I cant wait to go to Lilith 98'.
