For some reason that looks like a commercial that Jewel would be in. I swear the ambience seems (To my mind at least) to fit Jewel very very well. Is she thinking of ever doing any commercials (I have this strange feeling that the answer is going to be a resounding "No" but I had to ask.) Also, does she read a lot? (No I don't mean reading poetry books or anything, but actual fiction books) or does she engage in any of the things that most people engage in (E.g., reading, watching TV (Being a plain couch potato) getting on-line and checking out porn sites {In case you were wondering, YES that was a joke}) or what? I guess with what little information I have I couldn't say she would have much free time to explore the realm of boundless boredom like I have but still...... Also (Aren't you getting sick of all this reading by now?) is Jewel attempting to learn more instruments to make songs with? Is she learning you know, piano, sax, any number of musical instruments to enrich her musical knowledge? What was the highest grade she ever got to in school? Senior in high school I am assuming, and if so, would she think of going to college or any other institution of 'higher learning' ? Mark(MAXMOUZE@aol.com) & myself are doing the best we can at getting this think to be confirmed. With the list on restriction when we schemed it up, we decided to iron out most(what few they are) of = the details. Here they are: #1) I have talked to Joe & he need names of performers before he approves of the show. #2) I will be calling Joe back either tommorrow(Thurs.) or Friday with what Ive got on whos playing. #3) Unfortunetly, the large crowd of hopeful performers has dwindle down to 3 & that ain't good. I think there were about 10 the first time we mentioned this. I don't want to be the one that sinks the boat, but as you can see there is still some work to be done. Need those Califorina EDAs support here if I can get it to be a *real* performance. It can be very cool. How would you like to hear Everything Breaks sang/played by an EDA? You might, if you can make it down to the show. But, first things first. Since this list has been back to JC mode, this is the 4th day now, I've seen way too many posts that are all about things that have been answered in the FAQ. FAQ = Frequently Asked Questions For all of you newbies, and maybe even some older member's of this list, PLEASE read the FAQ that you got when you signed on to the list...it was in that LONG letter you received right after signing up. Ya know, the one you probably deleted cause of it's length! I hope not. All of your answers to questions like the smoking issue, the education issue, Jewel being online, her sexuality, and ALOT more things have already been discussed at length here, AND have been answered. All of these answers have been nicely compiled into a set of questions (with answers) that each member gets when they sign up to this list. So everyone, go and take a few minutes and READ that long letter you got after signing up. If you deleted it already, then go to a Jewel web site, almost any of them (like Pieces of Jewel, etc.), and you can find a list of the FAQ there as well. Or I'm sure someone could supply you another copy. It just gets a little repetitious to see things surfacing here that have been discussed a long time ago, some things over a year ago! All of your answers are printed, and have been sent to your e-mail address. If there's not something in that list that's been answered, THEN ask the question...no problem....anything new is always welcomed. I'm sure it'll be refreshing for everyone to discuss something new. And more people will enjoy the list I'm sure. :) Ok, here's my Jewel content....she doesn't smoke! Hi all, this is my first post to the list. I became a Jewel-addict on October 31st 1997 when she appeared on a talkshow in German TV where she was interviewed and sang FG live in the studio accompanied only by a piano. Since then I bought POY and played it again and again and again..... Now here's my question : Does anyone of you know whether the song "Painters" on POY is one of the live or one of the studio recordings ? Why I'm asking this ? Well, at 5:51 mins in that song (right when she sings "smile") I can hear two short beeps. Like from a digital watch or something. Now there's no applause after the song so one may think it's a studio track. But that would be an unusual thing to have on a studio track. So..., does anyone know more ???? She said she does not smoke and then blurted out, "It's a lollipop!!!". That's an "end of discussion" if i've ever heard one.
