I'm not trying to be mean here. But I remember a month ago when I joined this list, everyone was complaining about Jewel being conceited and not thanking her fans at the MTV video music awards. Now everyone is complaining about too much NJC and asking for advice, etc. If you have a problem with this, then switch to the digest form. I don't have a problem with too much NJCs, but I do have a problem with people yelling at other people. Let's try to keep it down. Last week everything was fine, but this week you guys are flaming eachother. I know this line is old but "can't we all just get along?" If you're going to yell at someone, yell at them privately. First of all I would like to say that I am very happy for Stephanie. I don't know her or anything, but I am just glad that she is settled and happy now. So back to my topic. Does anyone know why Jewel doesn't sing the songs that she sang on the Innerchange Days tapes? Stuff like: The Poem Song, All the Animals (I know she sings this one, but not that much), etc... I think that those are some awesome songs. I wish she would sing some of them more often. It's not that I don't like her new stuff, I love it all. Just wondering what you guys thought. Ok, bye! They're next show is Nov 7 at Largo in W. Hollywood -- tentatively scheduled. I'm sure you'll love them. Other artists/albums to look out for: Molly Malone, Sarah Masen, Cake Like, Lisa Sanders' reissue of "Isn't Life Fine" - w/2 tracks co-written/co-produced by S. You know, I think all this got started by all those "What does NJC mean?", "What is angelfood and where can I get it?" kind of posts. People started getting annoyed at these posts and now we have an ugly situation such as this... Someone suggested a while ago that we should have a welcoming committee, where some EDAs e-mail newbies and let them know about all the new member sites out there, including Mike Connel's site and the Adopt-a-Newbie program. I'm willing to be part of this committee. I can especially help out the e-mail only users, like Juno, access those web-sites. I hope we can start a welcoming committe soon. I figured that this group would have the largest of possibility of being able to answer my question. In the song "If you can't dance" on Track 10 of the "Spice Girls"'s "Spice" CD, there's a Spanish rap. I can understand like one sentence and a few scattered other words, but I was wondering if anyone had the actual Spanish words, or knew them from listening to the song. Well, these people who are against it are being really hypocritical when they keep on sending mail to the list about it. It's also an njc to flame about an njc. Every time I have checked my mail the past two days all I have seen is mail about too many njc's. That also needs to stop. If you don't like all the njc's, then there's always the Jewel Digest. I don't have a problem with the njc's as long as they're not too off track. The only njc's that I've really received are people introducing themselves or people looking for someone to talk to because they need help or advice. Like I said I'm not looking to offend anyone, but I just wanted to voice my opinions on this whole matter.
