There was a punk/funk band that played in the quad at school today. They played a lot of their own songs, some really good covers of some Sublime songs, and then, surpirsingly enough, they did a punk cover of "Who Will Save Your Soul". I didn't think it could be done, but it was. I wasn't sure what to think of it though, since I really don't like punk that much. I just goes to show how many different musical styles that Jewel has touched. They're kicking off the tour this Friday at Java Joe's when Gregory joins Elizabeth for her show at 9pm in Ocean Beach. Other "special guests" are expected as well and should make for a fun evening! The EH/GP tour will take place the beginning of November with a combination of club dates and LRTs. The first date is Sunday, Nov 2 San Francisco at Hotel Utah. Several people have expressed interest in hosting a Living Room Show for these wonderful artists. Possible locations include Sacramento, Lodi, San Jose and more.
