Someone has told me that the MuchMusic Viewer's Choice Awards doesn't count votes by phone that they can't trace. From Steve(the angel from Mars) & Steve(the soul saver) that they're showing the orginal ver. of the video elsewhere in the U.S. Do we have to go to Defcon 1 here? MTV is really screwing with what video is nominated. I think(now not 100% sure) the SP ver. is nominated. Could anybody back me up? Jeez....I'm really really sorry everybody, if this is true. BUT, because time is short and Jewel is still behind, I would like to encourage everyone who has been voting my way to go back and vote on the MTV websites. But (if MTV doesn't count e-mailless votes) I assure that I have stopped most of the votes for the other people. So I've kind of "imobilized" them...meaning that if we vote a lot on the websites, we can help Jewel come back. So...could we do this in 2 days? I can't vote on the websites, but most of you can. Unlike Lilith Fair, Jewel seemed to be on top of her game tonight. She started with "I'm Sensitive", and continued with such hits, not in order, WWSYS, YWMFM, FG, Daddy, and various others from POY, and some songs from her upcoming CD (which, by the way, she said was about time). She was even upbeat during some of her anecdotes, and stories, including a Bob Dylan story, the story behind Daddy, Nicotine Love, and even helped out the opening act (some guy whose name I forgot) with a selection. She did really well, and I look forward to her next concert. I surely didn't... I noticed a lot of the stuff he did on stage was pretty stupid and he did a lot of it repeatedly... I heard at botht he PNC and the Jones Beach shows, people booed at him. He also began into "Strong Enough" by Sheryl Crow, only to stop and tell a small story about how it was written in a gay bar.. And I also heard he repeated saying "And if you're wondering why I'm singing songs by Sheryl Crow.. it's the other way around, damnit" I sure have nothing against him, just that his songs coulda been a bit better... he kinda bored me.. and the only decent highlight of his show was the duet with Jewel. If anyone else liked him, that's cool, at least he'll have a small fan base.. or a large one.. depends on how many people liked him..
