But from what I can see, a lot of people on the list are under 18, myself included, which makes it hard for some of us to make it to the concert, if it's out of state. How can we compromise with this, show we just try to do it in New York, where everything takes place, or Florida, were everybody takes a vacation, where? The list owner, Jeff Wasiko, has already informed us that the list is a bit of a headache for him as the mail flow continues to rise. (He can delete the list when he wishes and the thought has crossed his mind.) So my point is: We can't have people posting "Me too" type messages to the list. Keep them private to cut down the mail flow. Before you post something, consider first a) is that everything you have to say (to avoid an additional correctional message) and b) how are 1300 other people going to feel about getting this messagein their mailbox? If we all follow these guidlines those we'll all get along a little better. Oh and one more message for the newbies: WELCOME TO THE CLOUD ON WHICH THE EDAs PLAY!!! I have some tapes that I believe used to have J-cards but unfortunatly I have gotten 3, 4, 5 generation tapes and the J-cards have gotten lost along the way. Also could someone refresh my memory: can we not tape any Jewel tapes for our non-EDA friends or are there just a few that we shouldn't tape? If there is just some, which ones? This is something entirely up to Jewel, her crew, and her schedule. At present it is not something that looks terribly likely, so let's not have any more discussions about where and when we should have it since it's pointless as we don't have a say. ^_^; If it happens, it will happen at Jewel's convenience, not our's, and drop out of the sky much like the first one did. At that point, we will all need to pray we can make it, whenever and wherever it suddenly manifests itself to be. :) Albert Wang Dark Seraph bahamude@user1.channel1.com Jewel Quotes and QTs http://hugse1.harvard.edu/~wangal/jewel.html Tara MacLean Gallery http://hugse1.harvard.edu/~wangal/tara.html ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 13 Aug 1997 23:05:54 -0400 From: "Andrew Chandler" Subject: jewelstock2 how could be contact Jewel about jewelstock2?
