Dear EDA's, Hey! This is me again, Dave the Jewel-Boy, and I was wondering if you all could help me out. I've heard a lot about the songs "Flower" and "Race car driver", and to tell you the truth, I've never heard them before. I was wondering if anyone could send me a copy of them or something, because I'd really like to hear them. I mean, if they're going to be on her new album, don't bother, but if they aren't, it would be miraculous to hear them. Thanks! :) -Dave the Jewel-Boy :) ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 3 Aug 1997 21:56:31 -0400 (EDT) From: Linda the Every Day Angel Subject: *NJC* Since Rob posted cool stuff about his LRT - I'll add some Okay in the middle of the night, sitting on Rob & Tammy's big snake thing in their den, I was sitting with Thirza and Steve and Steph's bud Dave was like half conked out.. We were talking, and so I wrote down a list of really cool stuff that I remembered from the night... it was really really cool.. so here goes: * I got to play tambourine for CLB and EH - i kept a good beat although it's hard to chant "Pompeii" and play at the smae time - kinda throws ya off a bit. * I learned that bill b gives the best massages this side of the world * Steve was majorly sweet (mr. groovey lime) because he tuned my guitar and fixed it all up for me so now it actually sounds cool! yea! * Tammy and Rob's kittens were majorly adorable... awww that black one was so totally adorable :) oh heck they ALL were... * Cindy Lee's performance was EXCELLENT and Elizabeth's was equally EXCELLENT... especially that song Cindy Lee did with that major skip on a Beach Boy's album (as Rob already said.. "she won't even try, she won't even try, she won't even try" * 3:30 a.m. badminton game in the driveway * 5:30 a.m. jewel sing - a -long for those that were in the mood (which of course meant nobody and 2 people coming into the den to tell me and thirza to shut the hell up :) (i'm sorry.. i already apologized) * The dulcimer unplugged with Elizabeth on the back porch "Go tell Aunt Rhodie, the old gran goose is dead..." * Steph's lovely poetry... AND SHE RHYMED!!!! * Katerina Campbell's want for money! ("I want one!") * "I'm a hackeysack virgin" - thirza :) * Oh yeah.. those 53 stains that Rob and Tammy have? I think I pretty much stepped in almost everyone of them with my socks on.. (urgh..) * "I'm a Believer" - Monkees kick! :) * "I wear my sunglasses at night.." * The obsession on writing on dusty or dewey car windows and trunks * The ice cream man! (although I didn't get any :() * I can't seem to finish a wine cooler - but thanks those that helped! Really - my head is so grateful for you now... * Elizabeth Hummel interviews the chicks :) * Lessons in Overprotective Parents by: Lauren Bond (Hey thanks so much! :)) * Saying goodbye... (that wasn't fun :() * Oh yeah... and did I mention that Tammy and Rob's house is one totally amazing piece of architecture? that little window thing looking down onto the living room is just way cool... the whole house is just awesome :) I bet some of you can remember everything - some things are private and you wouldn't get the jokes.. but at least everyone had fun - CINDY LEE BERRYHILL AND ELIZABETH HUMMEL ROCK!!! yea! :) hehehe ttyl - -linda :) ..::''''::.. .:'' ``:. - Linda the Lovable EDA {\o/} :: :: :: :: /m\ :: :: :: :: brownie@tsb.inet-images.com :: .:' :: :: `:. :: http://www.geocities.com/SunsetStrip/Stage/7809/ :: : : :: ....................................... :: `:. .:' :: "everybody loves you when you're easy, `:..``::::''..:' everybody hates when you're a bore." ``::,,,,::'' - sarah mclachlan "black & white" ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 03 Aug 1997 21:50:37 -0400 From: Andy Baker Subject: LF question for central PA Hey all! If anyone's around, and wouldn't mind an extra body in the car, I'll gladly pay for part of the gas and such! Please email me privately! Nick ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 03 Aug 1997 19:07:47 PDT From: "David Howe" Subject: poetry and other wise writings (MJC) Dear fellow angels, Jewel writes a lot of poetry. Her songs are poetry. She has poetry on her CDs. She's been writing poetry since she was 17. I was thinking it might be worthwhile if we could share poems together, after all poetry was something Jewel did to let her emotions out, to express herself...and in doing so it opened up her soul and let us share what she was feeling. It added meaning to her songs and made them special. Her songs aren't just dum bubblegum lyrics, they have character and a whole realm of their own. I figure it could help us get to know each other better if we could share our writings. Just think about it. -Dave the Jewel-boy ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 3 Aug 1997 22:46:30, -0500 From: AYRM23B@prodigy.com ( DAN POY) Subject: [none] This is a just a test to make sure I'm posting to the right place. ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 03 Aug 1997 23:04:43 -0400 From: Andy Baker Subject: Thanks Linda, Emily and Kristy Linda, thanks for the invite.
