Just go to the grocery store silly!! Angel hair > >pasta > >is great! Also angel food cake is delicious! Both are low-fat, and > >very > >nutricious, so just pick some up for yourself, we don't need to help u > >w/ > >that!! > > I dunno... it made ME laugh... Newbies: you can't just GET Angelfood. The point is that you become a list member first and make friends- then get tapes from them. This list has Jewel's permission to do Angelfood. Think about it- people can join the list JUST to get Angelfood, and then copy and sell it. It's hard to get Angelfood from us because we're being careful. As it's been said many times, concentrate on getting to know the EDAs first. When you make friends, ask THEM for angelfood. Posting about it will usually get you nowhere, mostly because everyone's getting So sick of hearing about it. Rachel, who is feeling herself taking the safer route, not the smarter... You're just a little bit TOO hyper :) ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 23 Jul 1997 15:39:13 -0400 (EDT) From: VCavallo@aol.com Subject: Bearsville - Part G I'm a good baseball player, I slide really well. It's going to be held at the Woodlands Pavillion (just north of Houston on I-45). This takes place on Sunday, August 3. Gates open at 3:00pm, show starts at 4:30pm. An EDA gathering is being planned for this and there are already several who either have tickets or plan on getting them. This won't be a huge gathering like some in the past, but just something where a few of us can join one another and have a great time while enjoying the concert. This is just a list of the EDA's so far that have expressed an interest in attending (and most do already have tickets). There are 3 sections to choose from for seats. Reserved (covered), reserved (non-covered), and lawn seats. The reserved sections have actual seats with backs on them. Prices are $41 for the covered section, $31 for the non-covered, and $23 for lawn seats. All of the tickets also have a service charge...I believe it is about $4.25 It would be great if there were at least 15 EDA's at this. There will be 3 stages. A main stage, second stage, and what they're calling an acoustic stage for up-and-coming artists. Also many booths will be set up as well and an on-site Border's music store. The schedule for the various stages are as follows: - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Artist Time Start Time Finish Stage - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Gates open 3:00pm Katell Keineg 4:30pm 4:50pm Second Kelly Willis 5:10pm 5:40pm Second Lisa Loeb 5:50pm 6:25pm Main Mary Black 6:35pm 7:05pm Second Emmylou Harris 7:15pm 7:50pm Main Joan Osborne 8:05pm 8:40pm Main Jewel 9:00pm 9:50pm Main Sarah McLachlan 10:10pm 11:00pm Main Acoustic stage: Alisha's Attic and one other band will be on this stage that will be located inside the on-site Border's music store. Each set will be 15 mintues. Also, a Lilith main stage or second stage artist may perform on this stage, if so, this will happen within the first hour after the gates open. Jewel maybe??? :-) Keeping my fingers crossed. ***************************************************************************** * For anyone who would like to meet other EDA's and be a part of this * * gathering, we are planning on meeting between 3:00 and 3:30 at the food * * court on the right side of the main stage (looking at it from the front). * * I think there is some kind of fountain or scupture (statue) there also. * * If not, then just go to the souvenir stand and we'll find one another...be* * sure to wear your EDA shirts too if you have them, and if not, then some * * kind of Jewel shirt. Will, Jason, Stacy, Mark, Fons, and Chris are the * * only ones I haven't met yet. I know some of you are familiar with the * * pavillion, but for those of you who aren't then we'll try our best to * * find one another. As far as any other plans go, we'll just play it by * * ear and see what happens. * ***************************************************************************** Anyone who thinks they may be interested in attending this, please e-mail me and I can add you to the list. - --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Houston Lilith Fair EDA List =======---------============ Will Cheng - Sugarland, TX - soul42@aol.com Bill and Carrie Dallner - Chicago, IL - dallfin@flash.net Tien Dang - Houston TX - tdang2@Bayou.UH.EDU Jason Daring - Houston, TX - tss@blkbox.COM Derrick Karacostas - Hitchcock, TX - dkaracos@marlin.utmb.edu Stacy Katz - Houston, TX - stacy@nol.net Mark Suva Madlangbayan - Pensacola, FL - amalia@pen.net Amber and Mindi Reed - Bridge City, TX - hyypergirl@geocities.com Farr Shepherd - Tecumseh, OK - obie1@ou.edu Fons Taddic - Houston, TX - ftzog@Bayou.UH.EDU Chris Wieland - Houston, TX - cwieland@mindspring.com - --------------------------------------------------------------------------- I'll be updating this once more next Tuesday, then again on next Friday.
