Do you really believe that we could all be as good friends, and be able to coordinate such activities as the JPK fundraiser, and Jewelstock, and our new alliance with the Illuminati, if we all happened to "think for ourselves". I mean, the only way we can create our perfect society is if we all strictly control our thoughts and actions; we certainly can't have anyone forming their own opinions -- especially when it comes to Jewel. Heavens, no! Why, our whole operation hinges on making everyone worship Jewel. And now you go and ruin everything. Well no matter, we have enough converts to carry on our operations in San Diego without you. Perhaps in time you will come to see the error of your ways, and then we will welcome you back heartily... of course, not without the necessary penance of yodelling. ;-) - - - -- Hail Eris! - ---Rev. I might not have time to get any dry food or stuff like that tomorrow, but I'm going to try to see what I can do. Let me know where you stand on supplies. So what, you say? Well here's what. I live in Rhode Island, and nothing gets played on our radio stations unless it's way commercialized. We don't exactly have a KROQ type station around here. So if FG gets played on one of our stations, it means it will be a big hit! As I go > through the mails reading flame after flame, and I think....Man!! This is > horrible. Why do we feel the need to fight all the time? You know, I think the list has been declining A LOT for the last couple months. I don't know exactly what the cause is, but I would say that part of it definitely has something to do w/ the amount of people now subbed. When I used to read my mail, I would get a good feeling from it. If I was in a bad mood or having a shitty day, sometimes the list would pull me out of it. Now when I read my mail, I get frusterated and angry. The thing is, it's totally preventable if people would just think about what they're writing and not post such useless, pointless, mean messages. I have NOTHING wrong w/ constructive critisism, but nobody ever does any of that anymore. I see sooooo much bitching, complaining, whining, and bashing and it isn't necessary. If you don't like the Foolish Games video, fine. But don't post saying how horrible and awful it is, write something about how you didn't like it, and then say something that you think would be better. Do not just whine about it!!!! I think people are forgetting why we're all here. We're here because we love Jewel, and we love each other. This is not the "point out every flaw about Jewel and complain about everything that's happening in her life but do nothing whatsoever that's constructive, I just wanna whine and bitch for a while" list. So don't treat it as if it is. I'm happy to say that I'm leaving town for 2 weeks on Saturday, and maybe by the time I get back things will be back to almost normal. I know that we always have downtimes on this list, but I think now the bad times are starting to majorly outweigh the good and that bothers me. So please, everyone try to make an effort to improve the list. ...You know, the sad thing is, I don't think that the people who are screwing the list up even read this... *hugs* Emily P.S.
