My last post warned about a cult called DOMA (AKA "Daughters of Ma") targetting women and one of the cult's principals used to post here to EDAs, and I see there's all sorts of action now about a mean person using the name "buritohexd" at aol who's harassing EDAs, on top of the person who used a fake e-mail addy to pretend they're Jewel in writing EDAs, and then there's the poster seller Zach who's cashed the checks and not returned the posters or monies to EDAs. This is all pretty gross -- and it can only be that some people now view Every Day Angels as targets for exploitation. Let's look out for each other and keep posting infomation if people are mean or harmful. They'll go away and this list can return to all the positive things that EDAs stand for if we let the cult leaders and the scam artists know what we WON'T stand for... that sort of behaviour is against all the ideals of EDAs. If we make a stand this list can retain its goodness for all. ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 11 Jul 1997 00:11:35 -0700 From: screamgurrl Subject: :) Im really mad.... They schedule everything according to eastern time, and the pacific one shows it 3 hours later, but... well it's kinda complicated so let me give you an example. If something is scheduled to play at 8:00 eastern time, it will also play at 8:00 pacific time, which is actually 3 hours later. So you have it backwards. And for mountain time they play it at 9:00, and for the other time zone (which I don't know the name of ) I *think* they play it at 7:00. I know this has no JC in it, but since we always get people posting about missing stuff w/ Jewel in it on MTV because the time zone thing confused them, I thought I'd try to help some people out. So I hope this makes sense... *hugs* Emily ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 10 Jul 1997 21:33:22 -0700 From: Victor Igor Wasylczenko Subject: Re: cult and fraud artist warnings Adrian, Thanks for the elert.
