Some of the discussions on the list are becoming redickuliuos #1 Jewel getting maga media attention. Come on now! Jewel has come a long way from playing in coffee shoppes and she now deserves to have her 15 minutes of fame (so they say) and of course she will not have all this fame later so let her have her deserving fame. #2 I hope this list doesn't get to cluttered with "non Jewel related" subjects. I feel that this list and us EDA's are focusing more away of "Jewel related" subjects. Don't get me wrong I don't mind some non Jewel talk but let's try to stick to healthy subjects. I believe when the EDAF comes to be to this list, if we are not on another list about the EDAF the list will become. I think a wounderful thing for the EDAF would be to build a playground this is summer right? It seems the opinion is that she should leave her teeth alone. I disagree. Not because of her appearence but her health. I didn't think so until I saw that close-up picture of her wide open mouth. Someone just included a link to it. The picture was in a British magazine. It is clear in the picture that her bottom teeth are very crooked. Are there any Dentist or dental students on the list that can explain how this alignment problem is bad for her. How is she ever going to eat a corn on the cob. Well I'm no dental student (my cousin is... hehe) but I don't think that this could cause her any serious problems. I know lots of people (like my dad for example) who have teeth that are way more crooked than hers are and don't have any dental problems. She could have bad tooth decay or gum disease if she didn't take care of them however. As long as she brushes and flosses, she shouldn't have any problems. I couldn't wait for the source to report this great news. Man-D talked to James yesterday. He told her that he has a van. It is not equipped for him to drive, but it does have special equipment that he needs. I'll let Man-D fill you in on the rest of this terrific news. Next thing we need to do is help him get on the internet and join us on the list. I found a company with voice recognition software that is a step ahead of most on the market. We as a group of caring friends could convince this company to give it to James and work with him as a beta to improve the software. Also, I saw a new wearable computer that could also help James. I'll gather some more info and share the idea with you all soon. We should all be very proud that we played a very important part in getting James a chance to improve his life. I was so overwhelmed with happiness for James and all of us, that I almost forgot to post about it. Man-D must still be in shock. This news proves that we can make a difference.
