Come join me, all angels are welcome ... ::Prologue:: You see, this the story of a humbly lost spirit who slowly found that his silver lining was indeed shining -- he just could not see it before because the light that it cast had blinded his soul to the beauty of conscienceness, and after day dreaming for so long he could not find his own beauty too. His flesh was hell to him and soon, the difference between reality and his wishes faded away to meaningless nothing. Because of this he lost his hope of ever flying to heaven. Upon his loss, angels with golden wands suddenly flew from the east to save his soul and rekindle his delicate spirit. At first, he did not believe that they were really angels. But after feeling their feathery wings and the heat that radiated from their halos, he knew that life was good and made a promise to himself that he would live forever in heaven some day. He would be with his angels always. And he was until they took wing to their home in the east. One night when he was alone again he heard society whisper to him that it had finally won -- he got scared and cried like rain but refused to believe it true because his angels had once told him that as long as he hoped, society would never win. The salty storm did him a favor and cleaned his eyes of the dirt that he had been fed so that could finally see again. When he saw his angels again he noticed that they looked just like him, and he finally saw that he too was beautiful. So he cried some more and as he did so out of such happiness, two silver wings immediately sprouted out of his back. After thanking his angels he flew away and now lives in the summer wherever it may linger with its sweet breath of carelessness. Thank you to all my angels. Here is the story of my first flight into the sky ... I think that maybe you and I have experienced some of the same things in our lives because I was almost in tears just by reading what you wrote. I'm going to print it out and copy it into my diary, I think it would be very fitting for the way things have been lately. Keep them coming!
