If you haven't already seen it, try to find Launch 9 at a software dealer or bookstore near you. This disc's QuickTime clips are well-done and are blended quite nicely into the static background. You can hear Jewel perform a shortened version of "Who Will Save Your Soul" in the clips, and a longer version is on track 2 for use in your audio CD player. This one's a catch simply because she says a few things about Jewelstock in one of the clips. Other items include an interview and concert footage of 311, Game previews and playable demos (Selection varies by platform) and first looks at the currently running films _Ransom_ and _Beverly Hills Ninja_. Launch requires: Windows: Windows 3.1, Windows 95 or Windows NT (Intel) 486DX2/66 or Pentium processor 4x CD-ROM 16 MB Soundblaster or compatible sound card. Sure enough, they did. And along with a fascination for Pat Boone, they had a short interview with Jewel. "Winner of the Favorite New Artist in the Pop field was Jewel. And talking to her backstage, one can see she is one of a kind." GMA: What must it feel like for you to be here with the American Music Awards, and all of this madness? Your life must be this way. Jewel: It's very strange, it is. I'm very thankful for it; it's a beautiful blessing. But I'm sure glad for it. It's like, you know, two nights ago I was in the desert sleeping in my car, and nothing makes me happier. GMA: You were in the desert two nights ago sleeping in your car??? Jewel: Uh-huh. GMA: Ooh! What a kind of wonderful thing to do. Jewel: The full moon, it's beautiful. That was it. My only comment: Too much eye shadow, dear. - ---/- And now for some NJC...
