Liz I was just wondering what is going on with our friendship? Are we still friends? Because at school you act like we are and everything is fine than I am hearing from others that you don't consider me your friend? What did I do to deserve such harsh treatment from you? If I did anything to hurt you please tell me so I can correct it instead of putting on this everything is fine act. I am sorry for anything I have done to you that has affected the way you think of me. I don't know what is wrong with me, maybe I think to much with my heart instead of my brain. I don't mean to hurt anyone. Please forgive me. I tried to call you to talk to you yesterday but you didn't seem to want to talk to me. I just was going through my memory box and found my diary from this summer in Florida and the card you sent me saying "You will always be my best friend no matter what, don't forget that." I have tried not too. I am sorry once more. Please email me back or call me. I need to know why my life is the way it is? The story that goes around every time my family gets together (other than the time my grandfather had a little too much to drink and got into an argument with my father and his dentures fell into his mashed potatos) is when I was little, my brother and sister and I were playing under the table after lunch and they closed my head in between the leafs. It was a big table, so I couldn't get myself out and began to cry... My kind siblings told me that I would be the main course for dinner that evening if I couldn't get out...(that was just after we saw Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom -I think- where they eat the monkey braind out of the heads) I have never liked those big leaf tables since... I knew that someone else on this list would know the danger of those leaf tables!! They can work just like guillotines! My childhood memories of Thanksgiving are not so scary though. My grandparents on my mother's side had 16 children (they were Amish with no birth control during her childbearing years..) and many of my aunts and uncles had lots of kids. So, my holiday memories are full of laughter and running and games with all of my cousins. The entryway to my grandparents home had this wonderful staircase with an even more wonderful bannister that made the most incredible sliding board! The homestead has since been sold and it is now a comedy club in Lanc. County. The Italian Villa.. for you countians. I've gone back... the bannister remains in spite of my cousins and I. It looks smaller now. It takes all of my willpower to not go back in time... I want so badly to run up the staircase, tuck in my horter, and fly down the bannister. I'll do it next time. I swear I will. In general, you should not notice any difference. If you experience problems, please let me know. There is one major change, however. Lately, 'hackers' have taken to subscribing individuals to thousands of mailing lists all at once, meaning that the poor victim ends up with an exploding mailbox. This new version of majordomo prevents this abuse by forcing subscribers to 'confirm' their subscription request before it becomes effective. This means that when you send in a subscription request, you will receive a response back from majordomo that looks like this: To: you@your.site.com From: Majordomo@smoe.org Subject: Confirmation for subscribe LISTNAME Reply-To: Majordomo@smoe.org -- Someone (possibly you) has requested that your email address be added to or deleted from the mailing list "LISTNAME@smoe.org". If you have any questions about the policy of the list owner, please contact "LISTNAME-approval@smoe.org". So, you will have to follow the directions in the mail to get subscribed. Note that the secret code (123djfj383 above) will be different for each person, and for each request you make.
