I sent it and right after I was like "I sent that?!" It was some unthoughout-unconscious decision...I didn't mean to do it--I was mad yesterday and was having a record-tough day and took it out on the jewel list--I can't believe it myself. I'm not a jc/njc debater or want the post to slow down. I don't want the list to change--that's that--that's how I feel. I love this list too much. I'm new and I didn't know that sometimes the list goes through some little surges of mass mail from time to time. I panicked and thought I should post something...my dad was upset because of all the mail and told me I'd better unsubscribe because he was getting mad (I think he was really jealous because there's never any mail for him..:) The topic I got on was really difficult to explain and nobody really understood where I was coming from at all...not even me for most of it. So...forget everything I said (how many times has that been said?) but I still *suggest* that all read the FAQ. Not for my benefit...for everyone's. I mean, it only makes sense that as a Jewel fan, you're going to want to know all you can about her! Doesn't make any sense *not* to read the FAQ. (That's not on order--just a suggestion from a friend) Wow! This is basically what I wanted to say to everybody! Thanks, My deep apologies, Hope I said everything right this time, Take Care of yourself, Kerry and to any others who are upset at the current "clutter"--just think: you don't *have* to read it...i was overwhelming myself by trying to read everything and take part in all the discussions and go to school and learn jewel songs on guitar and tori songs on piano....i don't think it's all possible ;) ------------------------------ From: Candace Lutian Date: Thu, 21 Nov 1996 02:17:31 -0500 (EST) Subject: Re: Women > > > > I know that men do get hurt to but there are many more women that get > > hurt then men. I'm not saying that men are more > sensitive...each individual is different. I've been trying to stay out of this arguement but i can take it no longer. I think it is stupid to say all women are more senstive than men or vice versa. Some women are more sensitive some men are more sensitive. It's a personality thing, it's not a gender specific thing. And there has been research done that women can actually tolerate more pain then men can. They did these torture tests or something...but women are biologically supposed to be able to tolerate more pain because we are supposed to go through child birth. However, NIK wouldn't be a whole word, so to make it into a standard 2/3 declension adjective (the most common and easiest type), the "default" present active masculine singluar nominative form would be NIKOS, a word very familiar to all EDAs.
