Yes, there's a good chance that this person is a neophyte and trendy, but statistically speaking they could be neither of those things. But that's inconsequential, because regardless of who or what they are the only thing you can say for certain about them, and the only thing that matters is that they like Jewel. And how can ya' not like someone who likes Jewel? (No matter why they do so.) So they typed in all-caps, they were in an AOL chat room after all, and all-caps is the least annoying thing that can happen there. So they like WWSYS, why shouldn't they? For most people it's the song that turned them on to Jewel in the first place, considering it's the only song they had much chance to be exposed to. And I agree with you that there are much better songs on PoY, and even better ones off PoY; but, imagine this, that person may actually *disagree* with us. Wow, someone who actually likes WWSYS better than any other song on PoY (very low probability that they have any boots/angelfood). Anyway, I have nothing against neophytes and trendies, the more of them who start listening to Jewel, the more people who will hear and understand and be affected by Jewel's music and then they won't be neophytes of trendies anymore, but Angels. - ----- telliamed@juno.com ### All opinions expressed are yours. Hi all, One week to go on sending me any messages to be included in the "Jewelstock Thanksgiving" printout to Lenedra & Jewel. It will be in thier hands a week from Saturday (November 22) in plenty of time for Thanksgiving. So if you want to join in, please do so now by emailing your message to me with "JS Thanks" in the subject. I must say its grown dramatically since last week. It's becoming something fairly amazing and I think they'll REALLY enjoy it. It'll certainly convey how much these shows & related projects meant to so many. I forget who said this (more elequantly, too. No doubt....) but it is amazing that Jewel, Lenedra & EDAs could create something like Jewelstock, all motivated by love & the desire to share, without any monetary incentives. That's why this list is so different. Jewel is a catalyst that brings that out in many of us, I think. Lastly, I've gotten a bunch of emails reccommending that I include Chelsea's mom's recent post to the list. Rest assured, I'm way ahead of you there! It's in.
