Contrary to popular belief, no. we do not ride Kangaroos. We were talking about this over lunch because a woman we work with is going home to Canada next week and we were all asking about bears. She said she rarely sees them but we all beleived that they were everywhere. Her relatives all think there are kangaroos everywhere. She said that the last time her sister was out here visiting, they stepped outside and there was a kangaroo in the garden staring right at them which was just so unlikely. She said it never happens and that she had spent so much time telling her relatives that kangaroos do not frequent her garden. And there was one right there. It does happen. Sadly, the most I ever see kangaroos is dead on the side of the road. :-( Helen ps - ever seen a wallaby.
