Actually the list has been quite slow lately. I just double-checked, and there's been an average of 2 or 3 digests a day for at least 10 days, and it used to average 4 to 6 a day. My advice to anyone who's gonna be away from their computer for a while is to unsubscribe from the regular list and to then subscribe to the Digest AND the News list. If you don't know how, EMAIL me and I can show you. I do it anytime I'll be away, even for a weekend. The info on how to do it is also in the FAQ you recieved when you subscribed (if you saved it). Getting a new copy of that is easy too. It ended up the last (often neglected) post in the digest form. I just wanna give digest & newslist people a better chance to see it & participate if desired.--Alan Hi all, With Jewel & Lenedra out of the country & out of touch at the moment, AmyJo & I had an idea tonight. Many people have written to me privately in thanks for the production work on the Jewelstock Tapes. I loved recieving every one of them & I kept them all in a file. I know Jewel & Lenedra would equally enjoy reading your reactions. So....AmyJo & I will compile reactions into one long file that I can print & give them. We figure on doing this over the course of the next few weeks. Then I can give it to them mid-November when they are both at home for 2 weeks. I think that would be the perfect time for them to get it, too. No better time for "thanks" than around Thanksgiving. You can email me "whatever you'd like to say" at: ABershaw@aol.com Please just write "Jewelstock Thanks" in the subject, so we can identify those emails & do this little project when we feel like it. If you've already written me but would like to take the opportunity to write it differently to them, please do. Jewel & Lenedra really have allowed something here that has deeply touched us. I totally agree one can't help but be floored by these performances! And we think letting them know how good you feel about it would be very worthwhile. All I ask is that you keep it in reference to the tapes and/or Jewelstock and try to condense those thoughts to a reasonable length.
