(I was privately EMAILed by some EDA who did though, like I'm the "list police" or something) To all new EDAs: The intention of my post was to inform new EDA of what JewelStock was, what the tapes were, and how to increase a "newbies" chances of getting a set. Share your anticipation of her next CD, or an upcoming show you may be going to. Take part in the occasional polls/census etc. Share with us your excitment if you find "Save The Linoleum" in a used CD store. If you go to a show, many of us LOVE to read about it. I myself love to read reports from those that just saw her in concert for the first time. If possible, post the set lists, that info gets archived for reference. "Innocence Maintained" "I'm Sensitive" "YWMFM" (with Mexico story) "Near You Always" "WWSYS" I was listening for this, and I think she sang: "SHE says hold my calls from behind cold brick walls; says 'Come here, boy. There ain't nothing for free.'" "Chime Bells" (with Hawaii story) Her singing performance was fine, but between songs I detected an underlying weariness, related no doubt to her hectic schedule. During one of her stories (my memory fails me, AGAIN) she said something like, "This belongs in that Alanis Morissette song," and then she sang the phrase "Isn't it Ironic." She was seated on a stool, and her was fun to watch her wiggle and shake her feet, especially when she sang "Don't." Since I was sitting on the floor, I had a good vantage point for watching her nostrils flare. And YWMFM was number 27 on KRBE's weekend countdown show this morning.
