Lately, I've been trying to figure out the piano music for FG. I've looked for the "PoY Songbook" but I don't think it's out yet. That would be great if they do make one! Anyway, the beginning/end of the song is very easy to figure out. Chords are: Dm, Bflat, F, C. I can play most of the verses, but when it comes to "In case you failed to notice..." I just can't figure it out. And the notes are always different, even with the same basic chords. If anyone's interested in working on this with me via snail mail so we can send music, let me know. Scott "lazy...frustrated" Broughton PS: Recent posts have been excellent. Sorry Paul had to leave, but I really enjoy this list. Also, I have a suggestion, which I think is good. Instead of flaming a person because you didn't enjoy their post or whatever(Do us young people really say that a lot, Ray?), why not write a short note to someone's that you liked? It's so nice to receive those, even if they're just a one-liner. e-mail: brougdms@parkrapids.polaristel.net midnightclub@attitude.org internet: http://www.geocities.com/Athens/7887/midnightclub.html http://www.geocities.com/Athens/7887/baseoface.html "Such and injustice, as children we are told that from God we fell." - Jewel "Their precious midnight club - would there ever be another?" - - Christopher Pike, The Midnight Club ------------------------------ From: "Richard A. Well...I have no piano/keyboard unfortunately, and I'm actually a drummer, but now I'm gonna have to grab my acoustic and play with it on guitar. :) Thanx for the jump start and if I figure anything out myself I'll share. :) You may be thinking "sure...a drummer's gonna help out with piano music"...I've had two years of Music Theory, so I do know a bit about it. Good luck with it. While I was driving to work (8:30AM), I decided to listen to the radio (I hate morning radio here -Bob and Tom suck-) and was surfing my presets and the Bloomington (IN...you know, Indiana University AKA Bob Knight University) station was playing the slow version of YWMFM...I thought a faster version was released for airplay...nevermind, my luck didn't stop there because when I was leaving work (5PM), they were playing it AGAIN...so I got home and called the DJ...a friend of mine from HS, and thanked her profusely for playing it and she said that it was getting a good response from around there, so she expects it to do well. I'll stop rambling on... Hi Liz, you said: << I don't understand something....I haven't let it bother me, but I NEED to know. On tape three I said "whatever" (I am hanging my head in shame:( ) But Jewel says "That was DARK GIRL". I am assuming that she was referring to me. What does that mean???!!! Am I that evil?? Someone please help me>> Jewel didnt think you were EVIL! :-) When you said "whatever", Jewel said it sounded like her brother making fun of her. She then said: "The little shit, I killed him!" :-) Thats when she made the comment about "dark girl" coming out, refering to herself. I love this little sequence & I thank you for inspiring it! Its one of the funnier things on the tapes. I actually had to really work to put that sequence together, because you(Liz) were not audible on the soundboard tape. So I took your part off the video & blended it in so you can hear everything better. Give it another listen.
