I just read that Fiona Apple will be playing in Philly on oct. 18th. It's at the Tower Theater and she'll be with Chris Isaak. Tickets go on sale on Saturday at 10 AM. I'd really love to go, but I think I'm gonna have a problem with work, I already need off the 4th to see Tracy Bonham and the 26th to see Suzanne Vega :( While I'm posting here's my 5 must haves: 1)Liz Phair-Exile in Guyville and Whip-Smart (can't have one without the other) 2)Jewel-POY 3)Smashing Pumpkins-Gish 4)PJ Harvey-Dry, Rid of Me, and To Bring You My Love ( yea! her new album comes out tuesday!) 5)Sonic Youth-all of them!!!but if I gotta chose, my favorite is Dirty Love you all, Laura He offered me a ride to Pleasure, it sounded like a nice place to visit, so I went along, but we were almost there, and I decided that I'd rather be home again, only he was driving, and I never had, so we went on, only he passed Pleasure, and dropped me off, in Regret. ------------------------------ From: Nictnelove@aol.com Date: Fri, 20 Sep 1996 16:05:37 -0400 Subject: NJC : I got an A on my essay !!! I know Eric Idle did the voice of them junk-bandit guys and Orson Welles did the voice of I think the planet devourer. And Judd Nelson was the voice of Hot Rod. I saw that movie back in 5th of 6th grade when it came out and loved it. I recently saw it again this summer while working at the Words and Pictures museum (I get to meet Mike Allred and Dave Dorman there tomorrow) and thought it was fantastic. In fact, I watched it twice in one day. They screwed around with the cartoon after the movie, though, bringing Optimus back to life and mucking around. And the toys became worse too, using mostly plastic instead of metal.
