You built this place, and in the mirror, you come to see, The Angel's in your face. I have been on this list since January and let me tell you...Hiranya is a big part of this list if we lose her then we lose the opportunity to find out Jewel info before most others...if Hiranya wasn't here then JewelStock would never have taken place...If Hiranya wasn't here I would never had the opportunity to meet the person in this world that I totally admire...if Hiranya wasn't here I would have never had the courage to walk up to Lenedra and start talking to her. I love the fact that everyone on this list expresses their own opinion but I myself am getting fed up with 90 messages in 36 hours. 45 of those messages I left unread because of the no Jewel content. And yes I am very familiar with the delete button but even this takes time. I never thought that I would be supporting a news only list but I guess I am. This list would be for questions, concert reviews, jewel sightings, set lists, articles, and any new news from Hiranya about Jewel. Hi my Angels, I am home right now...not at school... and it is all Jewel's fault!!!!! I don't mind though!! Last night Shelly and I arrived at Greg's house a little before 6 just as Flicka was about to pick up Yar. Then Greg receives a call from Big Al that Dean and they had just left Dayton and that we should meet them at the concert. So Flicka, Yar, Shelly, Greg, Greg's mom, and I hopped into the van and went to Polaris. Well, I was scoping the crowd with my binoculars looking at the scene when all of a sudden I spotted Lenedra...I grabbed Yar to pull him over to her but he wouldn't go over to her because of the lame excuse that some chick named Jewel had just walked on stage in a yellow skirt and a sky blue turtleneck. So I stayed there...not to mention that Dean and Big Al hadn't even arrived yet!!! Here is the set list as I remeber...I am not quite sure of the EXACT order between 1000 Miles Away and Who Will Save Your Soul but these are all of the songs: 1) 1000 Miles Away 2) Fragile Heart 3) Sometimes It Be That Way 4) Satellite 5) Love Me Just Leave Me Alone 6) I'm Fading 7) You Were Meant For Me 8) Carnivore 9) Who Will Save Your Soul 10) Chime Bells The crowd was decent...there was a few psychopaths that walked by us and said something rude about our angel but Greg quickly responded!! :) Who Will Save Your Soul was loved by the crowd and she even started to sing something about being in Columbus, OH opening for Neil Young. The crowd ADORED Chime Bells! Jewel asked the crowd if she should go faster and she did...I didn't think she should could go any faster and she asked again...the crowd was screaming and whistling and clapping and she just stood there for a few seconds with a smile on her face and began to yodel faster then I have ever heard. Wow!!! She had people in the front giving her a standing ovation....which she rightfully deserved!!! At the beginning of her set she said that the people in the lawn should come down in front of the stage...I would have loved to have taken her up on that offer but I don't think the security guards would have liked that too much!! After her set a few of us walked down to get food and to try to find Lenedra...Big Al gave me the job to find her and as I started to walk away as they were about to get food I saw Lenedra...I thought to myself "hmmm...I could go get everyone and possibly miss the chance to talk to Lenedra or seize the moment" I chose to seize the moment!! ;P I talked to her and Bibi, Bebe, BB However you spell her name!!! They were both all smiles. Lenedra asked my name and stuff. I talked to them for a while and then asked Lenedra if she could give Jewel something for me.Oh yeah they told me that the new video was "very blue". I gave her a multi-colored medium sized guitar pic that I thought was pretty cool! I then walked away to find everyone and tell them but I couldn't find anyone. A couple minutes later I found Big Al who was eating McDonalds right by where Lenedra had gone backstage...I told them of my account and Big Al called me a bad word...my poor teenge ears!! ;-) We stood around one of the gates to go backstage thinking of plans to get backstage to talk to Jewel...let me see there was the dwarf toss, catapulting, (guess who the dwarf and catapultee were going to be:)) beating up someone with a backstage pass and assuming their identity, and dean even tried to buy or borrow a backstage pass from this red-headed guy with a large goatee...none of these methods worked though :( Big Al, Dean, and that other guy whose name has escaped me...sorry...left at about ten. Then about ten minutes after they left Flicka, Greg, Shelly and I were sitting there and something absolutely awesome happened but I'll let Greg tell you about that because I have written enough! :))))))) BTW--Neil Young is an AWESOME and insane guitar player! We hopped in our very own party van, went back to Greg's, got in the car and headed home. We got home at about 1:30 and I told my mom that I hadn't done my homework and I was too tired so she said that I could stay home!!! Thus ends my adventure....I am ready for another!!!!!!! -Liz JEWEL IS COOL...I HATE SCHOOL! ~Lizabeth A.
