Do you think you're all idealising Jewel just a bit much??? All this stuff about her being damn near perfect??? I mean, I think it might be a little hard for her to actually live up to ideals like that. She can't be perfect. Are any of us??? No. I sure as hell am not. Today I'm a moody, grumpy bitch (I'm just staying in my room so my housemates don't have to deal with it). So I just kinda think it's not so good to think of Jewel as perfect. She's pretty cool, very talented and gifted and very beautiful (I support your teeth comment Mike - nothing wrong with noticing these things as a point of interest - we Aussies haven't been exposed to Jewel very much so every little discovery is big and exciting for us!! Be patient with us!). A couple of smaller points: **James wrote: I pluck. If i didn't i'd have big bushy things and you couldn't see my eyes. :) I know i'm not the only one out there- come on guys, fess up! Seriously? You learn something everyday. Never met a guy who plucked in all my life! **Krista wrote: My boyfriend planted me a tree in my backyard when we first met 6 years ago. It was a tiny twig then, but every year it has grown stronger and stronger. We are in the process of selling my house and you better believe that tree is coming with me. I loved the idea...watching the tree grow with us....just my two cents I just about cried when I read that. That's the nicest thing I've heard all day! And as for all the hair/makeup/perfume stuff....well, I guess it's just about been covered but...here's my bit..it will be brief... I basically go to the trouble of shaving my legs, doing my hair and face and so on basically for myself. I'm constantly surprised by the fact that my nearest and dearest always tells me how beautiful I look on the days when I am wearing NO makeup, have not bothered with my hair and am in my grungiest clothes! Wonders never cease and I get slightly less hung up with my appearance everytime that happens. I think it has something to with him being able to see the REAL me as opposed to the me I create before i step out the door each morning (which is what he wakes up next to anyway...) (sorry Tom and James...you've heard all this before....can't help the repetition). Well, that's me purged! Then Brett brings up the question "Do women really like flowers?" and I realize that I really should send flowers to a friend of mine who listened to me unload about how I messed up and she gave me advice on how to deal with it. The production work is a long involved story in itself, but suffice it to say that you will all be very happy with the results. All three tapes are absolutely mezmerizing! I spoke extensively with Dennis H this morning & the J-cards will be amazing as well! I think they'll be the crowning touch on this wonderful project. So the bottom line is we are moving! Mike will soon post branch signup instructions so simply stick around & follow the instructions carefully. I'm as anxious for you all to hear these, as you are in recieving them. I think we'll all be one ridiculously happy bunch of campers! I hope you'll all find it very worth the wait. :-) Alan PS.
