Igor, the only other guitarist I know that was with Paul for some time was Elvin Bishop (rhythm), I guess someone could have stood in for him, esp. 'cause Paul and the boys were from Chicago...hell, the concert you went to was 7 yrs. before I was born...The Noodle is located in Indianapolis, one of the best Blues places I've been to, and one of the oldest bars in Indiana (est.1850!). They came out with a compilation (sp?) CD two years back, mostly local stuff, and did another one last year...maybe you've heard of some? Yank Rachell, Studebaker John and the Hawks, Rebirth Blues Band??? Maybe not... As for my diverity, I was into old Clapton (new stuff dosen't do it for me, except From the Cradle) and Segar and Skynyrd, Fab. Thunderbirds, ect. when I was twelve. Mostly because my Dad had listened to it...I can still get out old LPs of Little Walter Jacobs and Sonny Boy Williamson and a reel to reel recording of Junior Wells, so the blues have been with me for a while. My life's dream is to meet B.B. King in person, and to visit Memphis and New Orleans...but hell, I'm only 23, and I have time to travel, just not too much longer to meet Mr. King... :( Room Full of Blues sounds familiar, probably cause I listen to to a local station that on Sunday nights has their "Blues Sunday", followed by The House of Blues with Elwood Blues (yeah, it's Dan). If at all interested, I'd check out Sonny Boy's "Keep it to Ourselves", a newly rediscovered recordings from Denmark, dating back to '63, with Matt Murphy on guitar (duh). Available on Alligator Records. Highly recommended for anyone with even the slightest interest in good old Delta Blues or a kick-ass harp player... Later, have fun! My son would complain to me and his mom but as we had explained to him that he should just ignore his mean remarks and try to include him. Since he sat next to the boy I told him it was his job to keep on trying and never say anything mean back to him. Later on in the year his father shot the boys mother and turned the gun on himself. When the police arrived the boy was found hiding under a bed. The boys life was hard enough to have to deal with peers that wouldn't try. At times I don't feel like a very good dad but I think that I at least got through to my son in this one instance.
