I'll exclude the message, as it can only serve to entice some other fool to try it. Obviously, this dipshit isn't me. One, he can't write. Two, he doesn't capitalize sentences. Three, as even he realizes (and writes) "be careful what you put in there, it may come back to haunt you." No shit dumb ass, and consider this: 1) It is not funny. Depending on HOW you use it, it can technically be classified as a form of "electronic terrorism". It can cause damage beyond the perpetrator's original intent, and can result in civil, and in some cases, criminal charges. (Consider the repercussions of fraudulently signing someone else's name to a personal check.) 2) There are many ways of tracing folks on the internet. Network administrators can identify anonymous users to a greater degree than commonly thought. Logs are routinely kept of visitors to web pages, with detailed information as to what they accessed and such. There are limits, but trails are left. (BTW, if I don't cool off by tomorrow, you'll be the first to know.) 3) There are many ways to "skin a cat". And if the cat who did this doesn't want to learn one of the less pleasant ways first hand, he/she better re-think this stupid game real quick. Thanks for listening, Angels. Sorry about breaking any discussion threads, but this is relevant to post. While this might seem like a minor harmless prank to some of you, I have to make a living with this technology and have more at risk than just pissing off a service provider. If this happens again, sites like JS Online and the New Hampshire Show site will have to become history. I wouldn't like that, and then I'd be forced to stick this jerk's cardboard halo up where it truly belongs. - -- Dennis p.s. Thanks for clueing me in, Brett. p.s.s. Also, does anyone know if the rest of Garbage's CD is like "Stupid Girl" & "Only Happy When It Rains". Does anyone know a singer named Izabecca Pidgeon (sp?) she was on Conan O'Brien a couple weeks ago & she sounded like what people on this list would like. Any help is appreciated. For anyone else who has Dar William's "Mortal City" do you think that Alanis' voice is similar to Dar's at the beginning of this CD. For the Sarah list, what does BST mean (I have an idea). I was on the NJ Transit train the other day and unfortunately overheard three (loud) men going on about how women are inferior to men - "they were made from MY rib, not me from hers", blah blah blah. Finally at the point where one of them said something to the effect that if a woman ever comes up to him and starts acting like a man, he'd kill her. (he said it a couple of times and he wasn't speaking figuratively). At that point I got up and said "pig" and left the car. The scary thing was, the train was full and no one else even seemed to take notice let alone get upset. In fact, one guy came over to say he agreed with them. I still fume over this days later and it makes me wish I had said more. Ignorance is not bliss. Ignorance is SCARY. Sorry to burden the list but everyone I've told so far thinks it's funny. ????
