I'm infuriated. I was at the beach tuesday and guess what I saw, two children playing with a frisbee without an adult supervisor in sight! Do you know that every 5 minutes a child is injured in a frisbee related incident? Parents should take the necessary precautions to make sure that these instruments of destruction do not fall into the naive hands of children. Please, if you have a frisbee in your house, for the love of God keep it locked up so your kids won't accidentally find it while you're away working. I have proposed a bill to the United States Congress asking for a 15 day waiting period on all frisbees, it's being nicknamed the "Hasbro Bill". I would appreciate any support you can give me! Moving on...no v-ball court yet? All I need is a net, a ball, and 3 other players and we got game, even if it's in the middle of Times Square! I'm glad to hear there's so many good setters on this list, since these hands haven't set a ball since Ron VanHagen was playing :) I am the master of the block, though (useful for frisbee deflection skills). Any Angels wanna go for a run thursday, friday, and saturday? Gotta stay in shape cuz those frisbees fly fast! (I'm being serious, running alone sucks!) Can someone in the area post what the weather is supposed to be like? I live in southern CA (am I the farthest?) where it's 10pm and all I got on is a swimsuit...don't think that'd fly in New York. I'll bring my Wizard of Oz tape in case anyone wants to get a look at it. You gotta supply the VCR though! Thanks. =) You realize what this means. I have to show up on Wednesday to get a seat halfway back. What if we drew seat number out of a hat (if there are seat numbers). If someone has a guest, they get the seat to the left or right of the person they are going with, and that number is crossed off (so it doesn't have to be fished out)a master list, (which can be put in the holy scrolls of the guest book). This way it is just the luck of the draw. The people on this list are the ones that show up early to a regular Jewel concert. I think people will be there much sooner than 1400 on Thursday. ******************************************************************************* Boy, I say, boy you're swingin' the axe, but there are no chips flyin'. --Foghorn Leghorn Karl M Fields kmf29184@pegasus.cc.ucf.edu ******************************************************************************* ------------------------------ From: Mike Connell Date: Sat, 13 Jul 1996 01:53:20 -0400 Subject: Re: I leave tommorrow! I wasn't certain if Fridays set would be available, too, but I spoke with Hiranya earlier today and she said we can circulate BOTH shows in thier entirety. Comments, stories & audience interaction will NOT be cut out. Someone wrote in this morning asking about the PGriffin set being recorded. This I don't know, but will post if I do find out prior to leaving for Woodstock. Dan? Also, a few have asked about bringing camcorders. They will not be allowed into the performances, but I think it would be a fine idea to videotape a lot of the outside day & latenight activities for posterity. I am also bringing some portable equipment to audio record a few of the outside "jams" just for the hell of it. AmyJo & I will be in a cabin at the Pinecrest beginning Wednesday morning.
