It just looks like he causes problems wherever he goes, poor guy. My friend Dominic was on this list awhile back and didn't even know who Brett was. This is just too funny to delete. Just another reminder that what we call human nature in actuality is human HABIT--or for Brett, Jewel's beauty must be discussed everywhere! It's a pretty cool site, you might want to check it out. You can scroll to the artist you want, pick and choose states, cities or "anywhere" to get the complete info. Only drawback appears to only show dates for the month you are in at the time, unless they just haven't loaded in May dates yet. Mike - -- (A.K.A. Jewel appeared here before her last LA performance and everyone involved seemed to have a good time so I'm sure they'd invite her back. Anyway, I haven't heard any mention of her appearance on the 23rd from the radio station yet, but if I do I'll be sure to post it. Oh yeah, and I'll record it too if possible and will be happy to mail out tapes. ------------------------------ From: Christopher.A.Leswing@Hitchcock.ORG (Christopher A. This is by no means an accurate guess, since my memory is notoriously flawed and I only did a quick walk-by of her, but I'd wager she's about six inches shorter than me. Bono has left U2 and is now fronting Love and Rockets. 7. "Common People" by Pulp is still my all-time favorite song. 6. alt.nation is half an hour longer than I thought. 5. I still despise Bush. 4. I still love Trent. 3. Jewel says "I hate my generation" extremely well. 2. Jewel could charm a rabid Doberman Pinscher. 1. Jewel is still very, VERY cute. I had my VCR set to record from 11:55 to 1:05 (the extra 5's tacked on to compensate for MTV's improvisational scheduling), so the VCR stopped halfway through the "Who Will Save Your Soul" video (sickeningly ironic, isn't it?). Fortunately one of my housemates was watching the TV at the time and called me in. I fixed it rapidly and upon viewing the tape today, it looks like I skipped over 30 seconds at the most. Tonight I shall be wise. "Giving off a strong or offensive odor" is actually spelled "odoriferous." "Absosutely" isn't a real word, either, but that's just a symptom of my keyboard schizophrenia. ------------------------------ From: Truna@aol.com Date: Thu, 18 Apr 1996 20:07:51 -0400 Subject: Re: Jewel on Alt.
