My name is Matt Sinclair, I'm 31, and from San Antonio Texas. Sometime last summer, I caught the last 20 min of one of Jennifer's shows in Austin Texas (she was opening for a local favorite of mine, Monte Montgomery) and I was instantly hooked. Anyway, since then I've about worn out my Story of Your Bones CD, and I've been starving to hear more of her; particularly her older material. That's my first reason for joining this group. I was hoping, some of you veteran fans may have some "unofficial" advice for me; are there any websites, other online resources, or anybody/anything you could recommend I contact to get my hands on her 2 first cds or any other rare live stuff. I have stumbled upon a couple of her older songs as MP3's from various Napster spin offs... but still, it's very scarce... and since I don't live in the area, it's not like I can scour the used CD scene (I would however be willing to call a few if some can recommend some). My current favorite song is On the Shoulders of Giants. I just downloaded it few days ago... DAMN what a cool song!!!! Anyway, that's about it. If any of you JNB fans out there have heard of Monte Montgomery, then I'll just assume you are also a fan. For you lucky folks I could probably offer up a pretty cool trade.
