This Friday night Jenn will be performing as part of a special show: The Missoula Folklore Society presents Jenn Adams, Tom Catmull, John Floridis, and Zoe Wood Friday, January 10th, 8pm, The Crystal Theater 515 S. Higgins Ave Call 406-829-8219 for more info. Tickets $8/$10, $2 off for MFS members Get your tickets at Rockin Rudy's or Crystal Video (Tickets are selling pretty fast for this show, so you might want to get yours soon...) http://www.montanafolk.org Join us for a special gathering of local Missoula artists performing songs in-the-round (and in short sets). These folks are all friends and should be quite fun to watch on stage (even before they play music...). They'll collaborate on some songs and it will be a great chance to get to know some of our best local singer-songwriters. Stevensville's Jenn Adams "dynamic arrangements set off her sharp-eyed, open-hearted, and literate lyrics". Tom Catmull (opened for Kelly Joe Phelps in October) blends pop, folk, blues and country, and has been writing and performing original music in Montana for seven years. John Floridis "slaps his guitar into high-octane frenzies but can also sing a moving lyric or pen a poignant ballad." And native Montanan Zoe Wood (who opened for John Gorka here in September) packs twelve years of performing experience into her songwriting and guitar style of acoustic slide blues, jazz, and folk. The Crystal is behind The Bridge Restaurant, so come early and get some excellent food (amazing pizza...). There is a bar and you can bring wine and beer into the theater. If you're reading this and not in the local area, why not check out some of the web sites below, maybe order a CD? http://www.jennadams.com http://wwww.tomcatmullband.com http://www.johnfloridis.com http://www.zoewood.com For those of you attending the Folk Alliance conference in Nashville in February, Jenn will be showcasing there. She'll be sending out details on that soon. Or you can always reach her about anything at me@jennadams.com. ------------------------------ End of jenn-adams-news-digest V2 #2 ***********************************
