This Saturday night Hi there, Just in case this has slipped by most of you----I'm delighted to say that both Chris Thompson AND Eric Lee (with his band) will be playing at the Fifth Annual Beatle Benefit at the UU Church of Marblehead (home of the me&thee coffeehouse). This a very cool benefit that sends musicians into the schools to do workshops and concerts for kids in the local schools. Eric has already done a fiddle workshop for high school kids and Chris and Meredith Thompson will be doing their Science of Sound workshop for elementary school children this fall....and more! Others in our cast of "Ob-la-di Ob-la-da" are: Pesky J. Nixon, Amy Malkoff with Nick Girard and Alex Green, Linda Sharar, Adam Miichael Rothberg, Bethel Steele, Lisa Watkins, Andy Cambria and Jason Myles Goss! How can you beat that? All this talent jammed into one evening....and playing nothing but the Fab Four??? You can purchase tickets at the church website: www.uumarblehead.org or just show up. We've got family specials for parents who might want to bring their kids or even grandparents who might want to bring their grandkids! I witnessed a rehearsal the other night and it was superb... Much fun!
