It reminded me of other completely unplugged shows I've seen -- The Nields 5/21/95 Grace Church, Windsor CT (trio show) The Nields 12/7/96 Iron Horse (full band, the Blizzard Show) Nerissa Nields 11/14/04 House Concert, Billerica MA (Naykid Tim's) The Kennedys 7/6/08 Vistor's Center, New Bedford Summerfest (all requests) There's no other vibe quite like the vibe of a completely unplugged show. Here's what TK played -- Life Is Large Half a Million Miles River of Fallen Stars Angels Cry 9th Street Billy Namaste Breathe Can't Catch Me Alabama Rain Rhapsody in Blue Sun Burns Gold Shadows with the Lonely Make It Last Words of Love (Buddy Holly) Rave On (Buddy Holly) Not Fade Away (Buddy Holly) Everyday (Buddy Holly) Stand (encore) P&M had just done 2 Buddy Holly tribute shows in NJ, the previous weekend. This was one of the most fun house concerts ever. Ihor and Marisha were fabulous hosts, in a fantastic loft-style apartment in a funky NYC neighborhood. And I came away with a Music on 4 / 21 Nights t-shirt, signed by the Kennedys. This show was different for me in another way too, as I'd decided in advance not to drive back to Boston afterwards, as I usually do. So this was the first time where I stayed in the city just to see a show since 1994, when I saw Sarah McLachlan at Central Park Summerstage (where I met Meredith Tarr), and when I first got Wendy MaHarry's CD Fountain of Youth.
