I'm really partial to Sandy Denny's rendition of "Matty Groves" with  
Fairport Convention on Liege and Lief.
 
But Sandy Denny never came up to the GFP to sing it for the campers at  
Falcon Ridge!
 
This YouTube footage of "Matty Groves" by George Green captures the very  
first song ever played by the Strangelings with fiddler Eric Lee.  The  
performance is unplugged except for the tiny electric sitar amp of Pete and a  small 
amp for bass player Ken.
