It's going to be an expensive FR, with all of the following artists putting out brand new CD's just in time for the festival -- N&K Nields (Sister Holler Highway Robbery), The Strangelings (Season of the Witch), and Gandalf Murphy (the 2 CD's referenced here). Bruce ===================================================== Next weekend (July 26-29) we'll be sneakin' around for 4 days at the Frandangulous FALCON RIDGE FOLK FESTIVAL making guerilla appearances and doing workshop stages with various combinations of friends & strangers. SATURDAY night we'll be doing our MAINSTAGE SET between JOHN GORKA and DAR WILLIAMS. There's true rumors that we'll all be mixin' it up with them to add some special gazoot to an evening that promises good things already. Also at FALCON RIDGE the Circus will release two albums - a butt kicking live CD of our "Roots on the River 2007" performance and an "Ancient Murphy Greatest Hits Of The 20th Century" that contains 15 songs from our mysterious past, many which have never been heard outside of Slambovia. Incidentally, Cheryl Prashker, who will be playing with the ever-expanding Strangelings at FRFF, will also be releasing a CD at Falcon Ridge that promises to kick much butt due to her amazingly versatile and wonderful percussion skills. Check it out. In her words: This will be a compilation entitled It's All About the Drums (what else > > would it be called?!!)
