They are beautiful, though I think their sound is more conducive to Maura's chord playing than Pete's finger-work. Both my husband and I thought that Pete's guitar sounded very choked and a little tinny when he played higher up on the fretboard and the individual notes weren't as clear as they usually are either. They do look like Kennedy guitars, though! ~ Sheila larkinmj@cox.net wrote: > Do you happen to know what kind of guitars they are playing now? > > Michael Check out the Kennedys' Official Home Page: http://www.KennedysMusic.com/ Fab photos, the Official tour diary, dashboard Buddha haiku, groovy merchandise...what more could you ask for? ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 01 Apr 2007 19:21:37 -0400 From: "Lin Sprague" Subject: Re: [JP] the Kennedy's at Northwest Park On 1 Apr 2007 at 18:19, Kathy Sands-Boehmer wrote: > > When I saw the Kennedys a few weekends back at the New Moon, Pete > > had a brand new fancy guitar with all kinds of fancy stuff on the > > backside---Maura made him show the audience what was hidden to us. > > No clue what kind it was though. > Is he not using his orange Gretch any more? I know he is one of Pete's influences. Did they have regular sound holes or "f style" holes kinda like you see violins, violas, etc? - -Christopher Johnson Blind faith in bad leadership is not patriotism.
