Subject: [JP] Sen. Barack Obama's Announcement Speech

Katryna mentioned the Washington Post website text version of Barack  Obama's 
announcement speech in Springfield, from the stage of the Nields' show  at 
Bull Run, in such glowing terms, that I thought I'd better follow up,  trusting 
my instincts that Katryna was right about this one.  

If the Blues Brothers were on a Mission from God, let's just say I'm on a  
Mission from Katryna Nields.

I thought the speech reminded me of both Martin Luther King, Jr. and John  F. 
Kennedy, with both style and substance -- maybe less style than JFK, maybe  
less substance than MLK, but still a good combination of the two.
