During Katryna's first maternity leave, Nerissa played a number of solo appearances, including 5/5/01 at the Joshua Tree Bar and Grill in Somerville MA; 5/18/01 opening for TK at the Towne Crier in Pawling NY; and 5/27/01 at Mayfair in Bethlehem PA, also with TK. On 5/27/01 Nerissa's set was cut short by worsening weather conditions resulting in lightning. But the really interesting thing that happened next is the main thing I wanted to relate. TK played a completely extemporaneous unplugged set under a picnic shelter for a very few diehard fans, huddled under the shelter while the rains came down all around outside. A few of us are still around who remember that magical Kennedys moment! Just to add to what "john r" said, we've been talking about this possibility for about a year now. Ellen, the artist who's doing the design for the shirt, has done the artwork at the GFP for the past 2 years, doing signs for the Dharma Cafe and Club Century. And Katryna Nields is down with the idea of doing the lettering on the shirt, so it's a group effort and basically a groove. We need subscribers to get enough people to make this a "go." I'm chiming in because it promises to be such a cool thing and I don't want this to fail to come to fruit. John's email is _rozettj@aol.com_ (mailto:rozettj@aol.com) .
