Those combined numbers were really phenomenal. Apparently the smallish Thursday night crowd was packed with TK's students at the Lake Winnepesaukee weeklong summer folk music camp. It was sad for me though not seeing anyone I knew at the show. Didn't It Rain (w/ Gina Forsyth on fiddle) Half a Million Miles Namaste 9th Street Billy Nuah Celebration (Iraqi poem recited by Maura) How Will I Ever Be Simple Again Midnight Ghost Easy People River of Fallen Stars Dharma Cafe Shearwater Chimes of Freedom Bend in the River Stand Not Fade Away (w/ Gina Forsyth on fiddle) 8 Miles High (w/ Gina Forsyth on fiddle) Pete was his usual sagacious self in song intros, spouting his acquired wisdom in articulate, easily digestible soundbites between songs; Maura looked stunning in a white ensemble of blouse and slacks; and both of them sang and played beautifully, with gusto, passion, and that trademark Kennedys spirit of good times and good music we've all come to know and love so well. I hope TK have a great tour for their new album, and I hope many of you get to see and hear them.
