Time to figure out how we are going to have the biggest and best GFP/Dharma Cafe ever. Looks like several performers will be stopping by for some lively song circles. Definite are Joe Giacoio, Webre About 9, and, of course our own Brie Sullivan and Andrea Coller and Meredith Killough. TK will come up the hill again. Also, we hope to see Gandalph Murphy, and Friction Farm and Nick Annis and Elizabeth Crisfield will be camping with us. (Those of you who stayed Sunday night know how good they are). Maybe we will see Cadence on the top of the hill again, too...she hopes to be there. Plus there are several other possibilities. Annie Wenz has said she will visit. Carla U will be teaching at the Hummingbird Music Camp in New Mexico; so we wonbt be seeing her this year. If any of you know other performers, donbt hesitate to invite them We have our usual compound this year b a 14x20 screened canopy; a bar with bar stools for the screen canopy bar (Club Century); a large; a very comfortable shower tent with the pumped, hot water shower (and with a waterproof container to hold clothes for changing). Plus we will have some smaller canopies b one of which will be a screened, hexagonal 15x17 canopy for the Dharma CafC) (espresso and teas will be served). The fireplace will be back. We also have a sink b with running water (2 sources b battery pump b improved over last year, and foot pump) for washing dishes and washing up, etc. Of course, we do have the battery pack and blender. It is not camping unless you have frozen margaritas. Oh, yeah b and a small oven. How the heck else do you warm the croissants and make pizza at 3 a.m.?? If you are new b we are located at the very top of the hill near the volunteer tent on the ball nightb side. Just go up the hill to the treeline (shuttle bus starts running Thursday) and turn left, and there we are. The Budgiedome site: http://www.budgiedome.org/frffinfo.html has an aerial photo with the volunteer tent and water truck market b we are right across the road from the water truck. Menus: Breakfast b pancakes, eggs, veggie and meat sausages; croissants Dinner: Wed b Spaghetti and grilled portobello kick-off dinner Thursday b in planning Ideas? Friday b Meat and Veggie Chile (Ted and Nichole?) Saturday b Jeongbs Korean Beef and Grilled Chicken/ Kevin b Dall???? Sunday b whatever is left or turns up As usual, each night, other food seems to mysteriously materialize. I will be bringing the spaghetti, sauce and portobellos, as usual, napkins, cups, paper plates and bowls, plastic utensils, a case of bottled water, some pancake mix and maple syrup, butter, lime juice, sugar, limes, and a few other things as well b including some tequila, and margarita and mojito fixings and wine, and some gin and tonic and some coffee. 2 kinds of coffee makers b espresson and French press. And blueberries for the pancakes. We have a long list of other things we will need to supplement what I am bringing. b reply on-nook (with the amount) so that people know what is covered: Food and Drink: Beer Tequila Vodka Rum (we ran real short last year) Gin (I have this covered) Wine - lots Whatever else you can think of (and we need more than one bottle of each of the forementioned) Soft drinks (lots) Bottled Water Non-soft drink beverages Orange juice (for breakfast!)
