He was an original Nields Nooker in 1996, and I haven't heard anything from him at all since he left the Nook in 1997. I tried in vain to get him onboard the 1997 version of the Nields Tribute Album Project, since Joe is a professional musician. The 1997 NTAP sputtered and never materialized, and the leader of the project, Nooker Ian Hannan, has entirely disappeared. I met Ian at Amanda Roeder's graduation party a few hours before Jam For the Van (6/13/98), the day Mousse came out too. I also met Andrea Coller for the first time at Amanda's that same day, as she was playing and singing with Amanda in those days.
