Perhaps I'll move it from my "to-read" list to my slightly smaller "to-read-next" list, and then pass it on. That was so nice of them. I wanted to abort it so that it didn't ruin the rest of the weekend. I did catch some of TK's unplugged set at the George Fox Pavilion (Nields encampment) Thursday afternoon, which was enjoyable. My favorite FR moment was during Tracy Grammer's closing set. She had just chasisted Pete for walking by an electric guitar without picking it up (several performers were invited up for Gentle Arms of Eden), so Pete obligingly walked over to Jim Henry's display of guitars and picked up the electric guitar. Jim simply dead-panned "You know what to do with that, Pete?" The GFP is also the site of the Dharma Cafe which next year will be even bigger and better - in fact a rea lcafe - with coffees, teas, etc. While the GFP began as a Nields site, it has so many jangle poets, that we have decided to expand. TK's GFP set was a real treat. And you should have seen the Dharma Cafe sign - painted by a real artist - with mermaids and dolphins. john Check out the Kennedys' Official Home Page: http://www.KennedysMusic.com/ Fab photos, the Official tour diary, dashboard Buddha haiku, groovy merchandise...what more could you ask for? ------------------------------ End of jangle-poets-digest V6 #42 *********************************
