Below is a copy of a post on the nields nooK Falcon Ridge next month! Time to figure out how we are going to have the biggest and best GFP ever. Looks like several performers will be stopping by for some lively song circles. Definite are Carla Ulbrich, Joe Giacoia, Webre About 9, and, of course our own Brie Sullivan and Andrea Coller and Moorea Malatt. Carla (one of the bmost wantedb) and I have both talked to the other b most wanted,b and they might stop by. We will be inviting TK again. Cadence carrol has sais she will make an effort to visit. Also, we will see if Gandalph Murphy, who breezed in at 4 am last year, is coming, and we are hoping that Friction Farm, who entertained us Sunday night, is back this year. Anais Mitchell, a winner at Kerrville last year, has said she will visit. Antje Duvekot will be at FR as a fan this year and has also said she will try to stop by. There are also a few others who are trying for the Showcase, and if they make it, will also be there. If any of you know other performers, donbt hesitate to invite them We have some new additions this year b a 14x20 screened canopy; a bar with bar stools for the screen canopy bar (Club Century) we had last year; a large; a very comfortable shower tent with the pumped, hot water shower (and with a waterproof container to hold clothes for changing). Plus we will have some smaller canopies b one of which will be the Dharma CafC) (espresso is served). The fireplace will be back. We also have a sink b with running water (2 sources b battery pump and foot pump) for washing dishes and washing up, etc. Unfortunately, we have not been able to run plumbing for real flush toilets. We do have the battery pack and blender, though. It is not camping unless you have frozen margaritas. If you are new b we are located at the very top of the hill near the volunteer tent on the ball nightb side. Just go up the hill to the treeline (shuttle bus starts running Thursday) and turn left, and there we are. The Budgiedome site: www.budgiedome.com/budgiedomeinfo.htm has an aerial photo with the volunteer tent and water truck market b we are right across the road from the water truck. Menus: Breakfast b pancakes, eggs, veggie and meat sausages Dinner: Wed b Spaghetti Kick-off dinner Thursday b in planning b we are trying to go upscale from the burgers Friday b Meat and Veggie Chile (Ted and Nichole) Saturday b Jeongbs Korean Beef and Grilled Chicken/ Kevin b Dall????
