So let me tell you what to look forward to at the GFP - our Nields/Kennedys fans campsite for 2004. All you WA9 fans are more than welcome to visit, too! We will have our big tarp and song circle at the center of attention as usual, located at the top of the hill, on the border between quiet camping and all night camping, right where the shuttle bus lets off. For those of you who have never been "up top," well...the air is cleaner and the sunsets prettier. But even if you don't camp, you can always come visit. The additions this year are: a new shower enclosure - a totally enclosed shower tent/changing room (with dry storage for change of clothes), and a propane heated, pumped shower (much larger water tank this year, too); a running water sink; a complete bar (with barstools) featuring the finest wines, Kevin's "perfect gimlets," a single malt scotch or two; beer, of course, and the GFP's famous frozen margaritas, gin (or vodka) tonics, and much more. Soft drinks and fruit juices, too. The bar screened bar enclosure will be known (keeping in the spirit of the George Fox pavilion) as Club Century. We may add mojitos to the menu, too; The Dharma Cafe - a gathering place for guitar pickers to sing; compare notes, figure out chords to favorite songs, etc. (separate from the song circle) As usual, we will have our gourmet kitchen, preparing meat and vegetarian offerings and breakfasts. Come the beginning of June we will start planning our menu and who will bring what. Dinner will start Wednesday night with what has become our traditional spaghetti and grilled portobello mushroom dinner, with, I hope, deb's just picked fresh Jersey corn. Spring is finally here - and we can start the countdown to FR! We also have 3 or 4 (at least) of our group submitting Showcase applications - - So this may turn out to be a really exciting year. john Check out the Kennedys' Official Home Page: http://www.KennedysMusic.com/ Fab photos, the Official tour diary, dashboard Buddha haiku, groovy merchandise...what more could you ask for? ------------------------------ End of jangle-poets-digest V6 #28 *********************************
