I can sit in my room, cat asleep on my lap, and listen to a Kennedys live show in California (or portion thereof), and even theoretically communicate with them. Pretty crazy! Of course, practically, it's less amazing. The picture was awful, especially for 56K, to the point where there was no point in watching. The sound quality was halting, though decent. But it's the idea that counts, right? The Kennedys played three songs: Didn't It Rain? Anna and the Magic Gown (with a nice guitar solo) Stand Plus helping out with various other people's stuff, of course, as per usual. David Roth played sometime before them; Trina Hamlin is singing as I type. Well, the show goes on, but it's getting late-ish...8-11 PST = 11-2 EST. Silly time zones. Gotta love the Net. ~Rebecca Check out the Kennedys' Official Home Page: http://www.KennedysMusic.com/ Fab photos, the Official tour diary, dashboard Buddha haiku, groovy merchandise...what more could you ask for? ------------------------------ End of jangle-poets-digest V6 #15 *********************************
