Sort of like asking a duck to swim in the water, or a Jangle-Poet to "dance around in the rain." LOL > and that we've always had a strong desire to someday co-host > a radio show, so it's like a dream come true. Kind of like when Abbott was first introduced to Costello, or when John Lennon asked a skinny gangly teenager named Paul McCartney to come play a few songs with the boys. "Doctor Livingstone Large, I presume?" :-) > And, because Sirius is nationwide, we can transmit from the > road, so we won't be touring any less. If you want to find out more > about Sirius Satellite radio, visit: www.sirius.com. You're not Sirius!?! :-) > We're also looking for a name for the show. Please let us know your > ideas. Shoot. Whatever could a couple of Kennedys call their radio show, focussing on contemporary singer songwriters? Aren't most of the good names taken already? :-) How about The Kennedys' Kitchen, as in "Come Into My Kitchen, it's raining singer songwriters in here?" Now on the front burner... Boy is it hot in this Kitchen or what? :-) There is a hilarious song from the animated Christmas classic, "Rudolph and Frosty's Shiny New Year" called "It's Raining Sunshine." Ethel Merman does one of the voices in that one too. Something about "Raining" and "Sunshine" that just seems to resonate in a Kennedy-esque vibe with me. How about Sunshine Superman? The Mellow Yellow Hour? 8 Days a Week? Time of the Season? Season of the Witch? I better stop now... Don't *even* get me started! :-) Bruce trying not to clutter up the Jangle-Poets the way I clutter up the Nields Nook since I decided to have that as my modus operandi Check out the Kennedys' Official Home Page: http://www.KennedysMusic.com/ Fab photos, the Official tour diary, dashboard Buddha haiku, groovy merchandise...what more could you ask for? ------------------------------ End of jangle-poets-digest V6 #11 *********************************
