Keeping my "day of release" string intact since "Angel Fire", I picked up "Stand" at Virgin Megastore about 8:30 pm last night, and have listened to it three times on the round trip between Columbus and Cleveland. Another fine addition to Pete and Maura's growing body of work! Congratulations! All the songs are delightful. I'm particularly intrigued by "Raindrop". I love the repeat of the chorus, with Pete's vocal really supporting Maura in a mesmerizing way. (I think it reminds me of another song, but I can't figure out whose, nor which one.) Hope we in the Midwest get to hear these songs live sometime soon!
