All 3 of us saw TK perform last Saturday with Lester Chambers of the Chambers Bros. ("Time Has Come Today") at a strike rally for Yale workers on the New Haven Green --- site of the last full band Nields show 2 years earlier. I saw TK play with Tracy Grammer twice last week, at the Iron Horse and the Gray Goose. TK played at a lovely small festival on the Soule Homestead in Middleboro today at 3:30 in a beautiful outdoor setting. And next week TK come again to play the Whaling Museum in New Bedford, across the street from where Cadence and TN played a few months ago. Massachusetts, you've put me in a happy state! :-) Life is Large Didn't It Rain Get It Right What's Going On River of Fallen Stars Dharma Cafe Ashes & Sand Easy People When I Go Dance Around in the Rain Miracle Mile Raindrop Pilgrim Anna & the Magic Gown Orange Blossom medley Stand Run Red Lights (my request) I Saw Her Standing There That was the first time I'd heard them do "Miracle Mile," only the second time they'd ever played it. And it had been over a year since I'd heard "Dance Around in the Rain," and nearly a year since both "Raindrop" and "Pilgrim." Imagine that, Stephen "Pilgrim" Persing has a Kennedys song written for him! :-) And for the first time, TK now have *six* studio CDs for sale, one for each of the 6 slots in their CD case. And all 3 of the primary colors are now represented: Red (Life is Large), Blue (Evolver), and Yellow (Stand). Maybe the next one will be their White Album. :-) TK continue to garner cheers everywhere they go, every time they announce "Easy People" by Nerissa Nields. :-) And Stephen, Peter, and I continue to be 3 happy campers. :-) Bruce Check out the Kennedys' Official Home Page: http://www.KennedysMusic.com/ Fab photos, the Official tour diary, dashboard Buddha haiku, groovy merchandise...what more could you ask for? ------------------------------ End of jangle-poets-digest V5 #67 *********************************
